Digital Sales & Marketing Engineer - Energy Sector (80-100%) 

Location Dübendorf (Zürich), Switzerland 

Urban Sympheny AG is a Zurich-based B2B/SaaS startup offering innovative software for urban energy planners. 

We are looking for a Digital Sales & Marketing Engineer to lead, execute and further develop our digital sales and marketing strategy. The position is 80-100%, with flexible working hours.   

As a Digital Sales & Marketing Engineer your mission is...

  • Enhancing Sympheny's digital marketing presence through different digital media such as blog posts, webinars, social networks, videos and our website.   
     

  • Developing and maintaining a database of sales leads using Sympheny's Salesforce CRM system.  Further developing Sympheny's Salesforce system to optimize sales, marketing and customer support processes.
     

  • Generating and pursuing sales leads, and acquiring new customers for Sympheny's SaaS platform.
     

  • Contributing to the ongoing development of an innovative sales & marketing strategy, with a focus on but not limited to data-driven and digital marketing.
     

  • Developing an understanding of customer requirements and needs in different markets, and helping to translate these into Sympheny's business and technical development strategy. 
     

  • Planning and executing workshops, seminars and webinars to help customers to understand and use Sympheny's software effectively for urban energy planning. 
     

  • Building and cultivating relationships with potential and current customers of Sympheny within the energy sector, within Switzerland and internationally 

The ideal candidate should...

  • Be customer-focused and digitally-oriented. 
     

  • Have energy sector training and/or experience, or a strong engineering background.
     

  • Have experience working with CRM tools, ideally  Salesforce 
     

  • Be interested to work on the international stage; able to speak English fluently; other languages are beneficial (German preferable).

  • Be eager to work in a startup environment, and willing to contribute flexibly to our team

Practical information

  • Location of the position: Zürich (Dübendorf) – Work will initially be done remotely (COVID-19 requirement), transitioning as feasible to partial in-person working
